Bachata libre
The free school of bachata
Learning differently, dancing without pressure, learning from each other, building connections in Luxembourg:
“Here, you don’t need to be good to start.”
Dance, connect, laugh, and improve together!
The Free School of Bachata - Free Bachata
The Free School of Bachata, created by Lux Bachata, is a collective and evolving learning space for bachata, based on horizontal transmission, autonomy and collective intelligence.
Inspired by active pedagogies (notably Montessori and free education), it breaks with the traditional “teacher/students” model to offer an approach where everyone is both learner and transmitter, according to their level, experience and sensitivity.
In this school, there is no fixed hierarchy or imposed path. Beginners learn from intermediate dancers, intermediate dancers learn from advanced dancers, and experienced dancers deepen their mastery by passing it on in turn.
Progress is made through exchange, observation, practice and sharing.
The Free School of Bachata is a place where bachata is learned by learning from each other. A school without teachers, without students, but with a community that dances, shares and progresses together.
